This October I will be attending the annual exhibition of contemporary violin and bow making presented by the Canadian Association of Violin & Bow Makers.
It will be held on Saturday, October 28th at the Conservatoire de Musique de Montréal from 10am to 8pm. (Location: 4750, avenue Henri-Julien, Montréal H2T 2C8, Salle de Concert) The silent auction in the morning will have materials for violin makers but also strings for musicians donated by Pirastro Strings. In the afternoon two concerts by the exciting Musicians of Collectif9 and violinist Kerson Leong will use instruments and bows from the exhibition.
This is a glimpse of a Stradivari model violin I will be showing at the event. I look forward to see old friends in Montreal and meet new colleagues and musicians!
